Rosary

Come early to join the public recitation of the Rosary 35 minutes before Sunday Mass. A plenary indulgence is granted for those desiring it, when the rosary is recited in a church and is accompanied by sacramental confession, Holy Communion, and prayer for the intention of the Holy Father, within eight days of each other. All attachment to sin, even to venial sin, must be absent.

Altar Boys

The London Latin Mass Apostolate is in need of altar servers. If any men or boys above the age of seven wish to serve the Mass, please come to the sacristy after Sunday Mass and speak to Father John. Training sessions can be arranged.

Come, Ye Thankful People, Come

1. Come, ye thankful people, come,

Raise the song of harvest home;

All is safely gathered in

‘Ere the winter storms begin.

2. God our Maker doth provide

For our wants to be supplied;

Come to God’s own temple, come;

Raise the song of harvest home.

3. All the world is God’s own field,

Fruit as praise to God we yield;

Wheat and tares together sown

Are to joy or sorrow grown;

4. First the blade and then the ear,

Then the full corn shall appear.

Lord of Harvest, grant that we

Wholesome grain and pure may be.

5. For the Lord our God shall come,

And shall take the harvest home;

From the field shall in that day

All offenses purge away,

6. Giving angels charge at last

In the fire the tares to cast;

But the fruitful ears to store

In the garner evermore.

7. Even so, Lord, quickly come,

Bring Thy final harvest home;

Gather Thou Thy people in,

Free from sorrow, free from sin.

8. There, forever purified,

In Thy presence to abide;

Come, with all Thine angels, come;

Raise the glorious harvest home.
